Paper Pure | The purest reMakable to date
reMarkable Paper Pure is the most attainable paper tablet, combining affordability with the core reMarkable experience. It features our fastest and most responsive E Ink display yet, with the highest contrast to date.
Design intention - attainable yet sophisticated
The design language closely connects to its Pro-line siblings, featuring two distinct side grooves that mimic a stack of paper. One of the main challenges was giving plastic a premium feel. This was achieved by developing a matte texture that remains visible without feeling dull, and by introducing contrast through glossy elements such as the logos on both the device and marker.
Despite the plastic back cover, the device feels solid and well-built. A near press-fit gap between the screen and rear casing creates the impression of a single, cohesive slab. The front is near perfectly matched bezel and screen giving it the feeling of one sheet of paper.
Repairability was a key focus throughout the project. This is expressed on the rear through ten exposed screws, carefully specified to complement the plastic material and appear as an intentional part of the design.
